Big brother...

Carson is going to be a BIG Brother in March!!! We are expecting again.... I only have 13 more weeks to go and baby boy will be here. We have decided on a name...Blaine McKinley. Blaine is a name we liked and McKinley is a family name from Daniel's great grandfather. Carson is going to be a good big brother and help me take care of him. Can't wait to meet him....

UPDATE....

Whew! Carson is almost 19 months old and it has been fun! He had his 18 month check-up and he weighs almost 26 lbs. He is getting taller and talking more and more everyday. He loves playing with cars and watching airplanes fly over!!

He has a new cousin...Graham Edward Smith...Welcome! Carson can't wait for him to get big so they can get into trouble together.

Kids Day Out

Carson started his Kids Day out today at CrossChurch. He did good! He didn't have any problems when I left and of course I cried but not until I got to the car. He ate almost all of his lunch but NO NAP!!! I didn't figure he would take a nap but I was hopeful. He is sleeping now that we are home. The teachers comments were: "He is quite the climber!" Overall I think he had fun and it will just take time for him to get the routine down and lots of playtime with other boys.

My First Haircut

Today, we took Carson to get his 1st haircut. We went to Pigtails and Crewcuts in Fayetteville. He did better than we thought.

Gentry Safari

Today we went to the Gentry Safari with Ellie, Cheryl, and Jason. We had so much fun! Ellie and Carson got to ride a pony and they loved it. Cheryl loved the Emus and a zebra slobbered all over the window. It was a good time.

TEETH...

We are getting more teeth finally. At least 4 more teeth maybe more....

Camping

We went camping a couple of weekends ago in Kansas City. Carson went a night early (WITHOUT MOM FOR THE FIRST TIME) with Mimi and Pops. Here are some pictures! He loves camping! He also went to his first ST LOUIS CARDINAL game!

Colorado!!!

We went to Colorado this past week. It was so fun!! Carson did awesome on the airplane ride both there and back. He got to play in the snow and eat everything in sight. Just FYI for everyone with kids....Don't bring too much juice for the plane ride because security in the airport will harass you. Daniel and I went skiing for the first time and it was a blast! We can't wait to go again. We skied two days and the first day it was warm and Daniel and I both got sunburned. The 2ND day we went it was perfect! We all had some wipe outs but it was worth it. Housekeeper...

The cutest housekeeper ever....Can hire out? We are off to Colorado tomorrow to go snow skiing. Carson's first airplane ride....Will post when we get back!

UPDATE

We are about 6 days from his FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!! We are excited. I just wanted to update everyone on what he is doing now...He is walking almost running except he hates shoes. He will only walk in his shoes for a short period of time. He is getting better though. We had spaghetti last night for the first time and he loved it and it was everywhere. He loves to eat. He always wants whatever you are eating. He doesn't eat much baby food anymore because he loves our food more. I can't wait until his birthday!! Hope all of you can make it to his party!!! ENJOY!

All-Star Birthday Party

HAPPY SNOWY 11 MONTHS

Today Carson is 11 months old....it has snowed about 20 inches here in Springdale. This is the most snow I have ever seen. Enjoy the pictures of Carson being buried in the snow!

SNOW...SNOW...SNOW

Carson got to play in the snow today. It was fun!! He didn't know what to think at first but then he wanted to play with it. Of course it took longer to get dressed then what we actually played out in the snow. We have about 8-9 inches of snow and there is more to come....We are ready for sunny days!!!

Christmas Update

We had a good Christmas! We went to Missouri for Christmas. Christmas morning we left around 630AM and headed to Daniel's grandparents house in Buffalo, MO. Carson was an angel on the way there, he slept for all but 30 minutes of the trip. We got there and had breakfast and got to see all the new cousins(4 of them). Then we opened presents and left and headed to Daniel's parents house. We ate dinner and opened more presents. It was a LONG day but it was good! Carson got alot of new things for Christmas and now our living room has turned into a war zone of TOYS. Thanks for all the presents!
Carson also now has 7 teeth. We are working on another one too. He loves to eat and will try anything. We are getting closer to walking. He will use his walker and get around but he hasn't just "let go" yet. He will stand there unsupported for a couple of minutes but no steps on his own. We are getting close....
