Christmas Lights!

Last week, Daniel, Carson, and I went to the Fayetteville square and walked around and saw the Lights of the Ozarks. It was fun! The weather was good but alittle windy. Carson had a blast just looking around at all the lights and people. They also have camels and carriage rides but we just walked around. It was a good time!!!

9 month check up

We went to the doctor today and saw Dr. Ball for our 9 month check up. Everything is good! He weighed 20 lbs and 7 oz. He is in the 50% for height and weight. He still has a ear infection in one ear so we are on another round of meds. Developmentally and physically he is right on track. He is getting so big, so fast! He also has 4 teeth now. He has 2 on top and 2 on bottom. He loves food! He will eat anything!

My first Thanksgiving

Gobble...Gobble...Gobble...Happy Thanksgiving!! On my first Thanksgiving..it snowed and it was bitterly cold. I can't wait to eat mashed taters and sweet tater casserole and maybe even some pumpkin pie!

First Ear Infection...

Carson has been sick with a runny nose for about 3 weeks then the last couple of days he has been running a fever so finally I took him to the doctor last night. He has a double ear infection. We saw Dr. Jackson and he was great! Dr. Jackson said he was proud that he hasn't been sick before and he said it was probably because I am breastfeeding and that is the best protection from anything. He weighed 20lbs and 3 oz. He hasn't had a fever today but we slept like a newborn last night so hopefully the medicine will start to kick in and make him feel better soon.

Happy Halloween!

Carson's first Halloween! He was so cute. Daniel and I made his halloween costume. He is our hero! We just went out to my parent's house and hung out instead of trick or treating. Next year everyone better buy lots of candy...Here are a few pictures to enjoy!

Daddy getting sworn in

This last Friday we made a trip to Little Rock. Daniel got sworn in for his license for attorney. Carson did good throughtout the ceremony. Here is a sweet picture of the family all dressed up. Congrats Dada!

First Tooth!!

Carson now has his first tooth! Last night we were up every 2 hours and just fussy. Then this morning he got up and was fussy again. Nothing was making him happy. Later this afternoon, I discovered the problem...a tooth! We have our first tooth!!! He is a big boy now! He can't wait for a steak dinner! I hope he sleeps better tonight but I know it is only the beginning of teething!!!

Nashville

This past weekend we went to Nashville. We left Thursday night and Daniel drove thru the night and Carson only woke up once. It was great! On Friday, we went to see my cousin Sarah. She was opening for Chelsea Handler on her stand-up tour. We went backstage and met Chelsea and 50cent. Sarah was of course awesome and funny. Then Saturday morning we went to brunch with Sarah and the family. Carson got to met Sarah for the first time. The rest of Saturday we spent with my cousin Allie who lives in Nashville. She has a new baby Sullivan (2months old) and he is precious. We watched the Hogs lose and ate a bunch of food. Then Sunday Daniel, Justin, and Sister drove home and Carson and I stayed one more night with Mimi and Pops. We drove halfway back on Sunday and the rest on Monday. It was a blast and Carson was an angel in his car seat for so long.

Happy 6th Month Birthday!

Happy Half Birthday! You are a big boy now. I can't believe you are 6 months old today. Today we went to see Dr. Ball for our 6th month wellness check-up. Carson is a growing, healthy boy. He is 18lbs and 26 3/4 inches long. He is in the 60% for both height and weight. He still has a small head but that is normal depending on the parent's size of head. Carson is also doing all the right things such as motor skills and developmental patterns. We also got more shots today but we are handling those good. Our family has been alittle under the weather this week and last. We are starting to feel a little better now but I think it is just allergies. We are giving Carson allergy medicine now so hopefully his little nose stops running soon. Can't wait for Carson to starting talking. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET CARSON!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Daniel passed the Bar. He is officially an attorney! Congrats to Daddy!

Green Beans...

Today we got our first taste of baby food. We tried green beans. Carson seem to like it! I can't wait to try more things and see how he does with those. Here are a few messy pictures. Enjoy!

Sick little boy...

Our Carson has been sick. He started Thursday afternoon with a fever. With little sleep that night his fever just got higher and he had some congestion. So I took him to the doctor on Friday and the doctor just said he had an upper respiratory infection. So this weekend has been alittle rough with tylenol and benadryl and little sleep for mom and dad. His fever is gone now and his snotty nose is getting better. My sister was gracious enough to watch him for us today so we could sleep for a couple of hours!!! Thank you Aunt Lisa! It is rough having a sick kid!

Just some pictures of Carson getting into trouble. He is rolling all over the place now. Most of the time, when you lay him down, he rolls right over onto his stomach. He is also scooting. He gets up on his knees and scoots forward. I'm scared that it won't be too much longer until he is crawling everywhere.

1st Camping Trip

We went on our first camping trip. We stayed in Mimi and Pop's new trailer. Carson seem to enjoy camping. He loves to be outside. We went on a walk, found bugs, and slept good. We can't wait to go again! In the last picture, look on Carson's shoulder...BUG!

4 Month Dr. Appt

We went to the doctor today. Carson is weighing in at 16lbs and 11oz. He is 25 inches long. Dr. Ball said he is a healthy growing boy. His weight is in the 75% and his height is in the 55%. We just need to work on getting rid of that one feeding in the middle of the night. He said developmentally he is right on track with everything he is suppose to be doing. He also had another round of shots and he took those like a champ!!! He recently just found his thumb. So here is a picture of him enjoying bath time while sucking his thumb.

Weekend in Missouri

We went this weekend to see all the Ingrams. Carson had a blast! Carson got to meet his new cousin Adam and play with Grandma and Grandpa. Here are some pictures...

Big Baby Carson Sits Up!!

Lesley and I were playing with Carson earlier and we decided to see if he could sit up on his own. To our surprise, he actually did it! Now he was probably benefited by his massive belly, but it counts in our book. Now we just need to work on that crawling and talking stuff.
